Rondel

Rondel is our most popular design.  Approximately 7” tall, it features a two mirror system with usually a 5- or  6-point image.  Many are wrapped in photographs taken by the artist, some have embellishments of charms and beads, and some are wrapped in iridescent papers.

Collage

Collage was our first scope using  a larger layout.  Approximately 8 1/2” tall, it features a two mirror system with usually a 6-point image. The original design had exteriors featuring collages with handcrafted polymer clay tiles - hence the overall name for this general design; later designs included larger, single tiles, ribbons, dichroic glass, and rhinestones.

Ellipse

Ellipse was the second of our scopes involving a larger layout. Designed by the artist, the body is oval in shape when seen from above, making a comfortable shape to hold.  It, too, is approximately 8 1/2” tall, and features a 2 mirror system with usually a 6-point image. They are covered in either a suede-like paper, metallic outdoor vinyl, or photographs, many taken by the artist.

Elegance

A smaller edition of Rondel, Elegance is approx. 6” tall and 2” in diameter.  Coverings will be metallic papers and printed backgrounds with charms and other 3-d embellishments.  Most of this line are Parlor Scopes, with both limited and open editions available. Pictured here is “Hummingbird Magic”.

Secret Windows

Secret Windows is another popular design.  Approximately 7” tall, it features a two mirror system with usually either a 5- or a 6-point configuration. The original design had exteriors featuring wood work by an artist from Maine; later versions have handcrafted polymer clay tiles, dichroic glass, and “Luminescence” has recast vintage buttons.

Serenity

Serenity is the same size as Elegance, but rather than a parlor scope, these have a photo on the exterior with a saying reflective of the subject (the verse on the scope pictured is, “No city invites the heart to come alive like San Francisco. Arrival in San Francisco is an experience in living” by William Saroyan. In addition, there is a small 3-d embellishment as well - here, a small heart.
